This is done by Evil Empire, the company that developed half of Dead Cells (after branching out from the one that did the other half). Dead Cells on Switch 1 runs decently. A few FPS drops once in a while but very playable.

I don't know how this game will run, and if I wanted it on S1 specifically, I'd wait for reviews before getting it. But I would expect them to do a decent job.

Bloodstained switch was unplayable at the beginning, and barely improved when it was updated a year later. Absolute shit, and I don't believe the hardware should get most of the blame for it. Worse, it was never optimized for gamefeel, instead staying in that weird limbo of visuals that are way too detailed for this resolution and still terrible to play. Unresponsive and loading catastrophically at the worst times.

Sure, the switch is limited, but there are far better running games on it within the same genre and at least as complex visuals.
