Are you saying the few thousand Lemmy.ml users are the primary cause of the rise of the far-right, or communists in general? I actually can somewhat agree with the latter, as imperialism decays more people than ever are sympathetic to socialism and communism, which in turn scares capitalists that then ramp-up repressions against socialists and communists.
Not that they're the primary cause. Just that they support the far right more than any other users here. They spend so much energy condemning the political opponents of far right parties but are strangely silent when asked to say anything bad about actual fascists.
No? Lemmy.ml has many communist users, who despise the far-right. I think you're confusing opposition to the center-right with support for the far-right, when both are opposed.

i point out the democrats suck because they actively enable fascists and refuse to address core problems with americas political economy.
