(almost) forged my own knife ! Of course there was an actual craftsman overseeing the process, explaining and showing everything, and handling the actually hard parts (making the piece of steel perfectly flat after we forged it, and making the actual edge of the knife after we pre-shaped it) but there were still a lot of steps where I could have fucked it up and I'm happy with the result ! That thing cuts better than my 350€ folding knife (the catch is that it's regular steel, not stainless)
