Please read the article before posting a comment. Headlines are intentionally written in a way to attract your attention often omitting key factors. Especially if a headline seems egregious it's worth to check if the article itself has more information that would answer some obvious questions, like in this case where a blogger already known by the secret service posted a video about the voting ballot. It is still a shitty thing to happen, elections are by no means free in Russia.

He posted a video of it. This means that:

  • whatever was put on any ballot didn't matter anyway, because with the current situation in russia there would be a wave of jailings going on
  • they very carefully watch what's showing up on the internet and will punish you in an instant if they don't like what they see
  • he should get out of the fucking country as long as he still can if he doesn't want to find himself in an unmarked van in direction of the frontline
