For now it’ll also include “AI”-assisted projects that haven't had at least two months of (public, verifiable) dev time behind them.

Hi,

I'd like a hotkey tool in that I can use in CachysOS with KDE Plasma and using Wayland when running Lurtis playng Warcraft 3.

What I'm seeking is a tool I can run externally from Lutris and then set hotkeys qwerty asdfgh zxcvbn to move the mouse to a specific screen location and do one or two left clicks and then return to the origin position.

I realize that Warcraft 3 can already be customized to user qwer asdf zxcv hotkeys, but first of all I also want ty gh bn to activate items in hero inventory which custom hotkeys can't and secondly the custom hotkeys only work in the "normal" game and not in custom games.

I've been trying to make a python script myself with AI (I also know how to code, but you know, prototyping is just so much faster with ai) and I got it working nicely actually under x11, but I just cannot get anything working properly under Wayland.

If you have any tips for such a tool or what approach to take if I were to code it myself (with python preferably) that would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Oh bummer. Anyway I've made an earlier post from my previous efforts (https://lemmy.world/post/49303063) where I also tested ydotool. At that time there was a known bug in ydotool that prevented absolute mousemove from working properly. The issue is still open on github it seems.
