Please for the love of all the gods do not give studio execs this idea or they'll be scrabbling for a remake.
Part II would be basically be Terminator and they'd still promise flying cars and hover boards.

The original director and screenwriter aren't allowing anyone to do a remake, so I guess we are safe as long as they are alive.

Robin Williams did Aladdin on the proviso nobody would do a remake.
Edit: Okay, I'm wrong. It happens. Sometimes a lot.
It was on the proviso that Disney approve that his voice acting - and the Genie character - were not used in any of the film’s promotional material. They did it anyway, hence why he didn't voice the Genie for the 2nd film voiced by Dan Castanella (The Return of Jafar), and came back for the third (King of Thieves) after a public apology from the Disney head at the time, and $1,000,000.

Nope, scrabbling. The film will be written using whatever words the writers use in their scrabble game
They will be scrambling to scrabble a script...I see.
I hope they cobble something together that is somewhat comprehensible.
Scrabbling a script isn't something you can to while scrambling. You end up dropping way too many letters and your dialog ends up consisting of mostly two and three letter words.
I mean, I would watch it.
