Executive at my company said something along the lines of "AI isn't leaving, it's a massive productivity boost" and then in the same breath said mfs needed to stop causing production outages and that we were on a change freeze for the next month.
I worked at a national telecom company where someone would fuck something up somewhere, and in response we'd have a nation wide, company wide, "alright pencils down everyone" week or two where nobody was allowed to touch anything.
Change management just spent time telling everyone to stop working.
