…but really though, just do what cops do and tuck a dried leaf in the plate holder to partially obscure it with plausible deniability.
and hope that someone else in the state has the exact same car model/color with plates that match the part of the plate that your leaf didn't obscure.
Police can get away with it because almost all police cars are identical.

that's what I do to get past the Flockness where they can see the scratches, stickers and mud on your car to identify you.
hope you have your car's bluetooth and telemetry turned off.
but wait, even if you manage that without bricking your car there's always your phone.
lol the cops are waaaaaaay too lazy to go after you for damaging a gas station speaker.
