The answer was hybrids, but that wasn't good enough for the "environmentalists". So battery only power was forced on us before there was even infrastructure developed for it. Now, adoption rates are stagnant and we are creating even more environmental hazards than before.

And the US is seeing growth in the last few months spurned by gas costs, after a year and a half of dumbfuck trump dismantling all the work that had been put into making EVs accessible.

But it doesn't really matter, EV sales are huge everywhere else, we'll catch up one day. I am excited for domestic projects like Slate and Telo.
