Alright real question though. Didn't Romans use it to whiten teeth and doesn't it help with athletes foot or something?
Not saying use piss there are other probably better alternatives just heard these before and am curious about their veracity
Human piss is a very useful precursor for useful chemicals like potassium nitrate and Ammonia, but theres no good reason to mess with the raw product. I hadn't heard about the teeth thing.
Appears to be a common myth. They apparently did however collect it for ammonia and phosphorus extraction and for use in cleaning agents. There’s a couple articles on dispelling the myth, but this one looked like a good read. (Unfortunate domain name with the topic at hand, however)
