it's impossible to tell whether or not AI was used. they should just ensure authors understand what was submitted and can take responsibility for / stand behind it
That's true but that's how any rule works, people can cheat if they really want to. It still sends a signal. That being said I prefer the KDE policy
Yeah.
Though I also prefer KDE's policy, Cosmic's is still a good policy.
A variety of projects having different LLM policies is a good thing, IMO. Such diversity keeps the ecosystem healthy, and hedges risks.
How do you ensure that?
