Mentioning lemmy.ml in a thread in lemmy.world is like a bat signal to them. All the tankies come out of their hibernation to spread their bullshit. It's pretty funny and sad.
It reminds me of the olden days when inter-forum and later inter-subreddit drama was more of a thing. Meta reddit basically died as it got turned into a dripfeed of algorithmic misery rather than a collection of boards, but Lemmy is literally a collection of decentralised boards so it's just reverting to the norm.

So a .world post calling out .ml is right and normal. But a Hexbear post calling out .world is EVIL TARGETED BRIGADING. Gotcha.
Yes, calling out actions is different than encouraging users to get into threads and attack users discussing your actions.
