When Blade later texted Watson to ask why he was being fired when she knew Espinoza’s allegations were false, she allegedly responded, “you people are always so problematic and dramatic. Move on and live with your sin. You are no longer part of GameStop, so I don’t care. Just go away and get right with God.”

Not true. If they're covered by title VII of the civil rights act, then the Supreme Court said in 2020 that discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation is a violation. If they have 15 or more employees (which a Gamestop may not have that many, not sure how franchising works there), then it is illegal as far as my non-lawyer read goes.
