Nothing, I live in Denmark, and it is very uncommon to donate to politicians here. The candidates campaigns are run by party money paid by membership fees. And all represented parties receive money from the state.
Admittedly only Obama because of the stupid birth certificate thing Trump pushed. But IMO that is not the most relevant thing, the thing that is relevant is their policies. Just look at J. D. Vance, he came from a poor family, but is among the worst of the worst. Growing up in an ordinary household is no guarantee. Keep your eye on the ball, don't get distracted by things of little relevance.
Not exclusively, but they are included. Many people thought communism would be ideal, until it was tried in praxis. Communism however is a stellar example of a society that looks good in theory, but is actually worse when people try to implement the ideals. Social democracy as practiced in the Nordic countries however works way better, and has created some of the best happiest societies in the world, with Denmark and Finland often competing for first place on satisfaction and quality of living. And Social Democracy is still based on free market principles and capitalism, only regulated to prevent the bad sides of capitalism. Social Democracy is also trhe best suited system we have to take advantage of technological progress, so it benefit the people.
That is in no way a problem with capitalism, but has a similar cause to what makes capitalism that isn't properly regulated bad. You are confusing the issues, and have completely lost your orientation about where the ball is, and what is the actual problem.
No I am living in a very different reality from what you describe, a reality you appear to have zero knowledge and understanding of.
I absolutely do, which is why I love living in one of the most caring societies on earth, despite we have the worlds highest taxes.
Couldn't be further from the truth. Republicans are sick, and American society is sick, and USA is only just barely a democracy. You are looking at maybe the worst democracy there is, and extrapolating from that, despite there are many examples of way better democracies. And thought all this you have still failed to describe a system that would work better than democracy even in theory, with the why and how.
Any system that may replace capitalism, will need to be based on democracy to serve the people well. And of course it needs to be a functioning democracy not a flawed democracy like USA.

Notice that all the Nordic countries are in the absolute top, with New Zealand joining the party. And are all far removed from everything you describe, because they are actually functioning full democracies.
