"The best country" my ass. It's pretty good if you're a white dude but not better than Canada or New Zealand or Sweden (not exhaustive). And in many ways it's trending in the wrong direction.
Have you lived in all of these countries? Because stats and life are completely different.
Or all of Europe
Belarus would not be an improvement.
Bullshit. They have healthcare, mandatory 24 days vacation, and stricter gun laws.
Those are your only qualifications? And you're not worried about it being an obvious Russian puppet state with openly rigged elections? Or that they've been unwelcome in the Council of Europe for like thirty years because of the unabashed authoritarianism and human rights abuses?
How is that different from here? We have literal concentration camps and brownshirts in the streets. We're blowing up fishing boats and school children. At least they don't have a measles pandemic and kids being shot up in school.
As I said, in many ways we're trending in the wrong direction. But we aren't at "international organizations show election results are fabricated by the ruling party" levels of corruption yet and the GOP isn't confident that they can get away with imprisoning their political rivals. They're still doing it through veiled ways, like poking holes in Ilhan Omar's citizen status.
Also, you're really hung up on civilian gun violence but they are actively involved with a war on their border that makes them susceptible to military gun violence.
