I think that there's a lot more potential in AI than there is in VR, which was his last expensive pet project.

They came up with some cool stuff for VR

The problem is there was zero overarching vision, no real explanation of how this makes life better (hurray, you can go to VR work meetings! Why would I buy this again?). Plus, Meta is fucking radioactive to the power users who would buy this stuff.

Similarly, Meta is so toxic I would never trust their AI without my data, and this is playing out with tons of leaks for people using their AI system Muse.

So while AI has more promise than VR, you can’t trust that to Meta anyways.

Have you seen their VR TOS?

Possibly, but socials are for people connecting, or they’re supposed to be. So people don’t want AI crawling through their socials.

It’s one thing to get a summary on a search, just plain annoying to have a post summarised.

Fucking android auto at one point offered to summarize my text messages.

I don't think AI can summarize 'ok'.

Well I didn’t say it could do it okay

I don’t like it anywhere, but socials are for people. We expect AI on data search.

I was not disagreeing with you, I was just trying to be funny and summarize "ok"
