My mother's cat had hyperthyroidism and she gave her the medicine in her ears. Rubbed it in, absorbed through the skin was much easier than pills. Usually.
Yes we're switching to a liquid. My last vet just gave me a year supply because I was moving States so we're almost through it lol.
