Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
Don't promote proprietary software
Try to keep things on topic
If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

A hacker reverse-engineered his own Samsung TV and found alarming spying activity, including code that used connected devices' microphones to listen to users.

It there any TV brand that we can still buy?

I'm not really sure how I will be able to setup TV or something that allows watching TV at this point.

You can use androidtv with adb and universal android debloater next gen to get rid of telemetry. Hisense is a decent choice. It's also possible to completely uninstall launchers with ads and replace them with flauncher which loads almost instantly
