If I wasn't a parent I'd cancel it. Might cancel it anyway...
My kids just watch the same three things over and over, if they're allowed to, anyway.
I replaced my monthly Netflix cost with a DVD player and one trip to a second hand store.
I cancelled Disney and Netflix. I sail the seas, however the kids/family do miss recommendations and discovery. Wonder if theres some way of exporting my plex watch data for recommendations.
If you use seerr along with the arr stack, you can actually explore all the new releases and back catalogue of the major platforms. Hook it up to usenet and for a couple of bucks a month and a little home server you have everything you need in probably max 10 minutes wait time.
All the kids stuff on Netflix takes up like 2tb if you just host it yourself.
You can watch the same exact shows on a pirate bay or something similar. There's a torrent of similar sites too.
