Wow that didn't take long.

I'm not super on top of Brazilian politics. How did this go down? Was it something like:

FB: The election was rigged! I demand a court hearing!

LdS: Oh, you'll get your court date all right.

FB: 😳 Ok…uh…I'll be on the next plane up there…

pretty much. he was already being investigated for his crimes, and there was talk he went to be a senator precisely for the parliamentary immunity.

Parliamentary immunity is such a bullshit concept in the same vein as "qualified immunity" for the pigs.
