I'm not disagreeing with you and I will try to do better, but shitty jpeg adds a bit of character don't you think?
With certain shitpost memes, sure, and less often than not. Not this one, though.
And how does a higher quality make any difference here. If you're so concerned about the quality of "meme" posts on Lemmy, maybe you should introspect on what you are doing with your life
