thats why Google is pressuring reddit to force logins, they need to make more human generated content.

What makes that funny is the bots will log in to comment but people won't

They banned all of us… I know I’m among many other early Reddit users who were considered “power users” by Reddit’s own metrics, many of us were purged early. I hit the front page several times when it was still a “big deal” and was very active in comments. If they wanted more content and input they shouldn’t have banned people like me who were actually making the place human

i heard on the subs, that when they were forcing the login popup a few months ago, people were lurking so they dont get banned on thier only account.

i dont think they even relaxed thier filters that much, they arnt willing to give up thier ai moderation, or sensitive filters but still want user generated content. they should choose one. now google/open ai, seeing they are scraping thier AI generated data.

Haven't you always needed an account to comment? I thought the login change just affects lurkers and Internet search result clickers

Reddit wants to sell its user made content to AI companies to train on.

Though most of it is bots now so I don't see that working out for them.
