I absolutely hate that punk and screamo is the default "music" for anarchist celebrations/organizations.
Punk, diy, mutual aid are great and powerful philosophies of community togetherness... But they just don't make/choose good music. It's a real sore point for me, as these events are about bringing people together... And not about blasting them away.
I want to find a group of anarchists who are all about ambient music, soft jazz, and psychedelics…
