Andy Yen has been excused for saying egregious authoritarian nonsense before and now that he takes a side on AI that people don't like his judgement is in question. Grow up. The signs have been there all along and Proton apologists are part of the problem.

People rightly got upset and moved services when Yen spouted his authoritarian fascist nonsense. Those who didn't weren't "Proton apologists", they were right leaning or centralist's (read as: "bUt BotH sIdEs") who also happened to take privacy and security seriously. They weren't defending Proton really, they were defending "one of their own". Personal I'd like to see Yen immediately removed from the company and Iay return to proton.
