Some Rules

Posting a link to a website containing tracking isn't great, if contents of the website are behind a paywall maybe copy them into the post
Don't promote proprietary software
Try to keep things on topic
If you have a question, please try searching for previous discussions, maybe it has already been answered
Reposts are fine, but should have at least a couple of weeks in between so that the post can reach a new audience

A collection of issues and my critiques with Proton.

I've had this drafted for a while but the recent news got me fumed and I locked in to finish and post it.

My first move was from Gmail without a domain so I had to manually move everything, personally I skipped the forwarding step and just spent a while moving everything. Currently I'm using my own domain so moving is just a matter of following the provider-given steps and switching out my email related DNS records which takes a few minutes at most.
