I would watch that romantic comedy.

Act one: Meet cute
Act two: tragic separation
Act three: The time traveler(s) revealed
Act four: The couple overcomes
Act five: In a twist, the bride and groom each separately meet their time traveling future asshole son who came back to assure their marriage.
Act six: Much stress from the soon-to-be-bride's perspective, as she realizes the fate of the world outweighs her romance.
Conclusion: The groom got a vasectomy, and they live happily ever after.
