A place for for news, discussion, memes, and links criticizing capitalism and advancing viewpoints that challenge liberal capitalist ideology. That means any support for any liberal capitalist political party (like the Democrats) is strictly prohibited.

4 No imperialism, conservatism, reactionism or Zionism, lessor evil rhetoric. Dismissing 3rd party votes or 'wasted votes on 3rd party' is lessor evil rhetoric.
5 No bigotry, no racism, sexism, antisemitism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, or any type of prejudice.
6 Be civil in comments and no accusations of being a bot, 'paid by Putin,' Tankie, etc. This includes instance shaming.

"Please do a wealth tax?" Who do you think taxes the wealthy? It's certainly not the wealthy, and it's certainly not the government, populated entirely by the wealthy. It's the people who come to the houses and banks of the wealthy with masks, guns, and the willingness to kill and die for the sake of their country. The real soldiers - and there are scant few of them.
Someone in the friend group does some sort of interactive theater thing. She was telling me about one where the protagonist is paid shit with poor insurance, but is told by the boss she'd have her sick husband's medical needs taken care of if she goes to the union meetings as a spy for him.
I was like, I'd want to go to the meeting and tell them all what he said. Then we all roll up to his house before dawn and wake him up at gunpoint. We say, you're going to pay us more or next time you don't wake up.
She was like you'd all go to jail or worse.
I was like I know but I want this power fantasy.
She said, that's not the point of this exercise.
Anyway, I think about this sometimes.
