I never kill spiders in my house. I rather have a spiderbro than fucking mosquitoes. I would probably think otherwise if I were Australian, but the only "funnel-web spiders" we have are Eratigena, so whatev.
Yeah as long as they stay outside of the restricted areas (near bed or chairs) they get to stay. There's a spider in my bedroom that's been there for months in the same spot. Right next to the balcony door.
When they get to many babies I just carry them out
Those are "funnel weavers" not "funnel-web spiders", but the similar terms very often cause confusion.
We let huntsman spiders stay in our homes. Many don't like them living in the bedroom. Huntsmans are a large spider.
Funnelweb spiders don't like indoors and are also limited to the Sydney region
Redbacks are a threat in the garage and garden, but they're not especially dangerous
