Spherical Housing When?

I had several spiders, some crickets and a fly as roommates.

Couldn't get cozy with cockroaches though.

Damn autocorrect wanting me to write cocksuckers instead of cockroaches.

Recently watched a doc about weird human-animal connections.

There's a girl who has some jumping spiders has pets and one of them seems to really appreciate to spend time with that girls. Awesome.

At least spiders can afford the home they want. So who is laughing now, huh?

In the dialect from my own place when we want to say we're feeling really cosy in one place, we use to say.. "I'm feeling like a spider".

I never kill spiders in my house. I rather have a spiderbro than fucking mosquitoes. I would probably think otherwise if I were Australian, but the only "funnel-web spiders" we have are Eratigena, so whatev.

[–] gerryflap@feddit.nl 3 points 14 hours ago

Yeah as long as they stay outside of the restricted areas (near bed or chairs) they get to stay. There's a spider in my bedroom that's been there for months in the same spot. Right next to the balcony door.

[–] Zwiebel@feddit.org 1 points 12 hours ago

When they get to many babies I just carry them out

but the only “funnel-web spiders” we have are Eratigena

Those are "funnel weavers" not "funnel-web spiders", but the similar terms very often cause confusion.

We let huntsman spiders stay in our homes. Many don't like them living in the bedroom. Huntsmans are a large spider.

Funnelweb spiders don't like indoors and are also limited to the Sydney region

Redbacks are a threat in the garage and garden, but they're not especially dangerous

I knew it! I knew man-spiders were hiding amongst us.
