The Democratic establishment are almost as bad as Republicans are at this point. He beat his competition in the primary, so that's what voters want. I don't understand why they are debasing themselves like this, it's humiliatingly shameful.
They're the same. They're literally fighting for the same thing and hiding behind a world wrestling theater spectacle of shit-talking each other on camera, and then following the script off-camera.
We let money seep into politics and now we have thousands of actors pretending to run the country.
Paterson served 2 years over 15 years ago, and now he is promoting Independents, he is not the "Democratic establishment".
He isn't promoting independents here, though. He's advocating for either Adams or Cuomo to drop out so that centrist democrats can coalesce behind one of them and defeat Mamdani, the progressive candidate.
He may not be involved in politics anymore, but he's still advancing the DNC agenda with his statement here.
Mamdani won the DNC Primary.
Any candidate other than Mamdani is either Republican or Third Party.
Why are we talking in circles here? I've already acknowledged that he won the primary. That's why this statement from Paterson is very very stupid.
It's ridiculous to argue he is not in lockstep with the dem establishment, he used to be the state party chair. He may not be in the position anymore, but he's still using his political influence to punch down on Mamdani.
You made a false statement, I corrected you.
This is literally impossible because if they compete in the general against Mamdani they're NOT DEMOCRATS. THEY'RE THIRD PARTY.
If you don't want to "talk in circles" then stop making false statements and I won't feel the need to correct you.
What does this have to do with anything? Democrats can vote for independents.
Read what I wrote again, very slowly, very carefully, comprehend it, and then fuck right off. Blocked.
If the DNC agenda is for somebody they forced out of the party after a single term to promote candidates other than the DNC, then they're not working for the DN-fucking-C.
You're like the guy from the Kung Pow movie who thinks losing is winning.
'at this point' LOL
And stil they don't get the theatre after more than a century
