Segal responds by saying that she, alongside similar government representatives from around the world, have met with platforms like X that are “very keen to ensure that hate is not associated with their platform”.

The antisemitism envoy then said that “AI is the answer” to stopping hate on social media platforms.

“They are very focused on how they can construct their algorithms to root out hate or make sure it is swept from the platform without impeding proper free speech,” she said.

Just old, out of touch, sill caught and susceptible to the AI train. I imagine meeting tech illiterate politicians is a dream day for Silicon Valley marketing.
