Why is this post getting down votes?
I get it's news you don't like, but it's still news people might want to know
No one will ever understand the whims of lemmy voting but generally anything that attempts to show ai in a good light but is obviously just a shill story is going to get downvoted. Even if it’s relevant to the community.
Anecdotally, quite a lot of users vote "selfishly" and don't care that downvoting reduces visibility.
allandlocalfeeds also fall victim to people voting as if these are their own personal curated feeds.And I hate it 🫠
I often come here and think the same damn thing eh.
