I've got a problem with the Chinese government allowing people to torture and kill animals for "fun" but other than having no animal welfare laws I don't see much that concerns me. Chinese society encourages people to chase money and work outside of work hours but that's creeping into every country these days. China proves itself again and again that it's on par with the West in many areas.
Do you mean things like horse racing or factory farming and stuff?
Hah, well I still buy cheese and honey. I can do without horse racing and most factory farming though. I haven't gone vegan yet.
