Peter Thiel's Antichrist Antics Continue

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any weirder, Peter Thiel has announced plans to deliver a four-part lecture series on the Antichrist. These unusual events will take place at the Commonwealth Club of San Francisco on four days in September and October.

Thiel, one of the most influential tech billionaires of our time, seems intent on forcing us to discuss the Antichrist. He is clearly trying to make a point. But what is that point?

Thiel’s lecture series won’t provide any clues to the public—it’s off the record. He’ll be delivering his lectures to an exclusive group of Antichrist-curious tech acolytes in a highly-controlled atmosphere.

Here’s the thing: this isn't really about religion. It’s about power and politics, wrapped in theological language. Thiel has long been fascinated with political theorist Carl Schmitt's ideas about “political theology”—the notion that all significant political concepts are secularized theological concepts.

And that equals death cult?

The bullshit conspiracy rhetoric absolutely muddies the water. It takes the focus away from the actual heinous shit he does.

Pro tip #1: Not everything needs to be sensationalized.

Pro tip #2: Work on your insults.

Not an conspiracy theory when dude literally said it, and work on being so damn sensitive cause it wasn't an insult it was anology.

Yeah. Not a single one of those articles suggest a single thing about a death cult. And nowhere did anything I said indicate that I worship billionaires. But, I should expect blind accusations from someone that thinks because they believe something hard enough, it becomes true.

Also, it’ll help you with your credibility if you don’t try to use op-ed rhetoric as proof of anything, rookie.

Have a nice day.

(P.S Peter Pan was fiction)

What in the fuck do you think it's going to happen when democracy and America falls‽

You think we gunna be all peace birds and hand holding? Do you really think that the rival billionaires in charge of their separate fiefdoms will never try and use violence to grab more of the others shit? Do you think it's going to be the billionaires themselves are going to go to Battle themselves personally? Do you even fucking think‽

You have got to be trolling or really fucking stupid (just so to ease any confusion, this is not an insult as much as an exclamation of the profound ignorance I'm witnessing. But make no mistake, I really do think you're stupid. That's just an observation.)
