Of course Alberta and Saskatchewan would lift the ban, they're like the Hamilton and Oshawa of provinces

people shit on Hamilton but it doesn't seem to be that bad a place
I don't really know anything about the city politics, though
I lived in Hamilton in my twenties. It's a troubled city with some real problems (drugs, poverty, etc), but I felt right at home there.
Apparently it's become less livable for regular folks since then (artists, you see — the shock troops of gentrification).
