With Coalition support. The CIA and LNP can do a lot together. Their default playbook is fomenting bad media coverage against the PM. Then they can use some quirk of the constitution like they did with Whitlam, or the CIA can pick out a replacement PM from within Labor like they did with Rudd.

I doubt anyone in the US knows who Ley is or cares if she writes a letter to them. This is much more about her own political survival than Albanese's

It's "attempted conspiracy to commit treason" at this stage, which is pathetic and embarrassing but still evil. And as Norah said they may learn who Ley is after this, though that's predicated on Trump being able to read.

Which is why she's writing this letter, to signal she'll suck them off if they let her.

It doesn't really matter if they'll let her or not. She has zero power and is irrelevant, she can't even control her own party. They are at best two election cycles away from reelection and there's no way she'll last till then. Even if she did, Trump will likely be dead or out of office and the Republican Party will be too busy with infighting to worry about Australian politics.
