The only Nazi symbolism I'm aware of is the swastika. I had no idea about the skull and bones and I think most people don't either.

As far as I know, you don't get to choose your missions in the military.

The totemkamf is popular enough that someone would have mentioned it to him I’d think. Also it’s not his service that worries me, it’s his work with blackwater. Which you absolutely do get to choose to do or not.
