I’m not ignoring everything except one aspect, though. Both are genocidal, and both serve the interests of the US Empire above all-else,

Hardly. Democrats made it clear that they care about netanyahu's political career above all else.

The purpose of supporting Israel is so that it secures US interests in the region.

That's the excuse. The US' interests would be better served if netanyahu's corruption trial had proceeded.

It isn't the excuse at all, the US has unwavering support for Israel because it's essentially a giant US millitary base in the middle east.

Would netanyahu have really stopped letting the US use their stolen land if biden hadn't been his personal lapdog?

Netanyahu doesn't have the actual power in the US-Israel relationship. Israel is thoroughly dependent on the US, while there's some counter-influence the real seat of power is the US Empire. If Israel becomes more costly to support financially, such as the incredibly high shipping costs due to Yemen's attacks on shipping, as well as an exodus of settlers to keep the project going, only then will Israel lose support and thus collapse.

I know. It's why I'm so pissed off at biden and harris. Their hands weren't forced. They supported genocide willingly.
