Well, he's certainly hitting all the notes that make a stereotypical yuppie sympathetic to progressive causes. I can't tell whether that's his honest opinion, though; I'm worried that his perspective actually is that killing babies is bad because the people doing the killing might get sad.

There are veterans like Greg Stoker who have a fundamentally different tone, and express regret towards their victims rather than regretting how it makes them feel.
