It's stupid. Staying away from potentially sick people is common sense, someone the pro fascists lack despite how often they bring it up.

A million people died. Most likely wouldn't have if idiots like this hadn't give out of their way to buck every single attempt to stop spreading the fucking disease.

If you look into the "excess deaths" studies, it's probably between 15 (WHO study) and 18 (Lancet study) million people who died beyond what we would have expected without the pandemic.

We really undersell how horrible a time it was.
