Didn't get a chance to watch it yet. But here's a better link to a safer front end that won't track you. If you use invidious links instead of YouTube links you're post will get more attention on here. https://invidious.nerdvpn.de/watch?v=0fvXFBMWvu0

i'd be more inclined to use invidious if the videos actually loaded

Its never not worked for men using the link I showed. Youtube links themselves in the text part have tracking built into it. You have to use an app to clean the link, have newpipe set to open by default or use link sheet nightly with the settings to remove tracking from URL's. Dude, y'all do whatever. I just tried to give advice to help protect Comrades. Like I'm supposed to and you should be to. I'll just stay away from your post.

YT is messing with the algorithm again. Remember new anti-user tech is not immediately rolled out to all platforms or areas at once, but tested on platforms and in areas incrementally.

all i know is i clicked your link, clicked play, and got some inscrutable error message.

Youtube links are allowed on GZD, we have the Tankie Replybot that automatically converts to an invidious link. Not everyone uses Invidious, and we should not hold that as a barrier to sharing information with the wider group, or engaging in discussion.

That bot is the reason why i always share video links as youtube links, even though i prefer watching through a service like invidious. With the bot everyone has the option of choosing whichever option is most convenient to them. I think that is the way to get the most amount of people to watch a video, short of directly embedding it (which only works for short clips).

I agree with your line of reasoning, I also know having the YouTube link as backup was/is very helpful when google goes and disrupts the invidus front ends. It allows for both the contenued ability to watch and another way for people to convert it to invidious if they know an instince that works
