Possibly my favorite moment from that era was the bit on the daily show where Stephen Colbert explained Bush's gaffe as a perfectly normal variation of this expression, and then showed couch cushions with the phrase embroidered on them, complete with the ellipsis to indicate the long pause Bush did as he derailed.
