You shouldn't have felled for Iraqi "wmd's" either given how blatant and inconsistent the lying was no reason to excuse it.

I was 14, and trusted that the US had adults in government that knew more about the situation than I did.

A lot of liberal boomers really liked and trusted Colin Powell for some reason, so his vouching for Iraqi WMDs really sinched it with that demographic.

But Iran is DEFINITELY within a few weeks of WMD! I heard that somewhere.
