It makes no sense to me to be gay and Republican.
That's like being gay and Christian. Like... you know these people hate you.

Chickens for KFC!
Am I the only one finding it concerning that this is apparently considered being worth posted in the "Not The Onion" community?
I mean LeopardsAteMyFace would fit best but I do not understand what your concern is about.
Well, a guy is filing a defamation lawsuit against others that called him a pedophile (I don't know where the "Homophobic Slurs" statement in the heading is coming from btw, seems like intentional rage- and clickbait misinformation to me).
That by itself is surely not a topic the Onion would have any reason to write an article about.
So the reason that this might be considered Onion-worthy nonetheless, must be the fact that he is a gay person that joined the Republican Party, so he had to expect being called a pedophile, because that is the expected norm?
Is that it?
If so, who honestly would be not concerned about that?
Republican have been calling LGBT people pedophile for decades at this point. It's still sad to see but not unexpected.
The GOP is widely regarded as the party of homophobia. So it's ironic that a Republican candidate would act this way.
