This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.

See this GitHub page for a collection of sources about socialism, imperialism, and other relevant topics.

This community is for posts about Marxism and geopolitics (including shitposts to some extent). Serious posts can be posted here or in /c/GenZhou. Reactionary or ultra-leftist cringe posts belong in /c/shitreactionariessay or /c/shitultrassay respectively.

We have a Matrix homeserver and a Matrix space. See this thread for more information. If you believe the server may be down, check the status on status.elara.ws.

It is 2:00 AM EST in Virginia where I live.

I am have those dark thought-loop spirals or whatever, this time involving catastrophism.

Seems that rage, fury, anger, or annoyance is the trigger for these dark thought spirals.

Hmmmmm

Honestly, I wonder if I have anger management issues.

I don't often snap at people or yell at them.

But I have gotten angry and then tried to suppress that anger because I had no recourse. It was either that or do something stupid and act on impulse.

Emotional suppression is bad for memory and other things or so they say (need to look that up sometime).

People in my immediate family snap at me or chastize me and I just wear a mask.

Anyway, took Vyvanse a while ago because it helps call me down and think clearly (but also in a very soothing way).

Have peoplr noticed the spelling mistakes I make while typing? I have typed out all but of my posts on my phone, and I find typing on phone to be quite difficult, and typing quickly doesn't make it any easier.

.Yes it was intentional now if you're asking.

Are you typing with a keyboard that supports gliding? It's basically impossible to make a typo when your keyboard only prints out proper words.

[–] muhg@lemmygrad.ml 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Nope, I've used glide typing but I never really liked the way it felt, could never get the right words.

[–] WaterBowlSlime@lemmygrad.ml 2 points 1 week ago

Fair enough. It's good enough for me in English but in Spanish I have to manually correct every other word. I've never found a keyboard that's any good at predicting all the subtle conjugations.

Please don't infantilize others by using the word "adulting" at a time where conservatorship is high and people are being forced to live with their parents (either by economic strife or by literally being manipulated by their parents into doing so)

CW short religious cult trauma rantAight I gotta see if God accepts lawyers. I got baptized as a fucking pre-teen. Why the hell must I lose contact with my family because of a decision that I made as a literal child?!

That decision can't be legally binding. I'm an atheist now but I can't believe this racket is accepted. I never got a birthday party ever due to this.

[–] muhg@lemmygrad.ml 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Pays to be unbaptized, I can tell you that.

[–] TabularTuxedo@lemmygrad.ml 2 points 1 week ago

I imagine it does lmao.

Has anyone read Homo Faber by Max Frisch? I’ve heard it’s taught in German schools, but as an Ami I’ve only now been put onto it. Would love to hear thoughts regarding the book as I plan to start soon.

There should be a one child policy for settlers in North America and Australia, with the exception for descendants of slavery or indigenous people
