The 67-year-old farmer was recommended by the AI to use high-efficiency flupyrimethalin and flusulfasulfaether to kill weeds and mix it with thiamethoxazine and methyl salt. As reported by Taiwanese Chinese-language news website CTWANT (via Tom's Hardware), he followed the instructions blindly, failing to check that what he was doing was safe.

It wasn't until the next morning that the farmer realized he shouldn't have been so hasty. Around 24.7 acres of his sesame seedlings were dead.

There is totally nothing interesting about the age of the farmer, it's just a number.. it's just.. a number.

Back in my day, we joked about 69. Nowadays, the kids are running around yelling 67. yells-at-cloud

Marketing LLMs as "intelligent" continuing to prove disastrous

Welcome to Taiwan's Real China News, tonight's story: Old ass mainlander is a big dumb dumb. He killed his plants just for a silly computer. Our next story: all the rice fields on the island are now data centers.

That's a shame.

Person who believed LLM had a 25-acre field on the line, and it made the news over people who put their life savings on the line because it's easier to visualize with stock photography. Many such cases.
