not even that unthinkable, at least for basic machine vision (4k recording are probably not going to work). Powered by induction and using low power electronics might be able to get there; although if you arent fine with implanting induction coils in your cheekbones or under your eyebrows with attached energy storage implanted it might be a bit invasive. At that point it would be preferable to develop Cybereyes - a biointerface connecting your eye nerves using a biochip paired with a camera; the space that's left in the eyesocket is probably big enough for enough energy storage for a day. Don't forget to charge overnight tho, you might go temporarily blind.
I don't even want pervert glasses. I barely even take pictures with my phone.
What I really want is that projection from those O.G. Google glass that projected image straight in your eye. Then I could watch porn all day every day everywhere.

I hold back the urge to punch one of my superiors at work when ever I speak to them lately because I realize they wear these.

And they expect even more next year... Meta is going for 20 million production for 2026... Maybe 30 million if trends keep..
I love this tech, just wish they would make independent of any corporation, just an I/O with standards to connect to your service of choice.
I have a coworker who has them. Takes some amazing videos of fiber splicing. But just like the vr headset, I just can't bring myself to buy Meta crap.
I'd like to see that too, but R&D costs for a product like this are enormous so I doubt it'd happen any time soon.
Get yourself a very powerful pocket laser, and if somebody is wearing one of these, shine it directly into their eyeballs.
