From Nikki Fried's Wikipedia page

After graduating, Fried worked at the law firm of Holland & Knight in Jacksonville, alongside Ashley Moody, a friend of Fried from the University of Florida who would later serve alongside her as the Florida Attorney General.

But since winning, she(Nixon) moved fast to distance herself from several DSA positions, saying she doesn't back abolishing all prisons — just for-profit ones, she doesn't support "defunding" police or having so-called "open borders," and she disagreed with the national DSA's controversial commemoration of Fidel Castro.

Nixon's distancing seems very rational to me. I think don't this movement needs to have a mandate to magically get rid of all prisons and cops. Seriously, when's that going to happen? Not any time soon. Praise Castro? That guy that created a utopia in Cuba lol? That'll be so fucking popular lol. Seems like dipshits(or childishly naive people) or Republican saboteurs are running this party(which I've heard of for the first time today).

I really hope people don't support this party and make them the stupid face of Democratic Socialism.
