As somewhat of a mop enthusiast this is admittedly an area of functionality I had not previously considered.
Instance name bizarrely checks out.
Well for some reason I couldn't find a mop-based Lemmy instance so I hosted my own.
I mean, a salad spinner would do the same thing, but it wouldn't add the extra mop water flavor we all love.
I still don’t know how mop water always converges to the same flavour with repeated use, even in different environments.
Like, the mop in a commercial garage, your grocery store (unless it’s been used to clean up an oil spill), and in your basement all produce very similar tasting water.

Freeze the strained pasta water for use as decorative ice cubes for dinner.
Okay but I unironically could see myself doing this to add starch to pasta sauces…

I have the version with a water tank to rinse. Should be handy to hold the sauce.
