That's why I spent years learning languages so I don't relie on them
I just can't freaking hear. Audio processing issues cause too much of a delay, while I'm also trying to follow the plot. Subtitles ease the burden for me, or else I have to blast the volume and don't talk to me
Watching LOTR for the first time was kinda hard, but once you learn every middle earth language you can ignore every subtitle. So worth it.
